Meeting facilities:
The meeting room is equipped with an overhead projector
(transparencies)
and a beamer.
Please, prepare your talk in Powerpoint (ppt) or Acrobat
Reader (pdf).
It is advisable to send your file to Rafel.Escribano@ifae.es
before the meeting.
A few PC's and Internet connections will be available.
Hotel accommodation and reservations:
Most of the participants have booked a room at the meeting site
RESIDENCIA
D'INVESTIGADORS,
carrer Hospital 64, Barcelona, tel.: +34-93 443 86 10, fax: +34-93
442 82 02 and e-mail: investigadors@resa.es
The price is 56 euro per night, including breakfast.
A few double rooms are also available at 78 euro/night.
From the airport to the meeting and the hotel:
Blue buses (Aerobus) from Barcelona airport to Plaça
Catalunya
depart every 15 min.
There is also a (less convenient) train connection every 30 min.
Once in Plaça Catalunya (the main square downtown Barcelona)
go to the South corner where La Rambla
(or Les Rambles, because they have several names) starts. Walk down
through La Rambla untill Liceu metro
station or Liceu Theater (Opera house) and turn right to carrer
l'Hospital
where the meeting takes place and most
of you have a room. The whole walk takes 10-15 min.
Conference fee:
Conference fee is 90 euro per participant to be paid in cash. The
social
dinner on Friday 17th is included.
